Footnote Issues

Hi
I am using Aspose PDF generator 8.5, using the XML method. I am also using Visual Studio 2010, and .NET 4.0.

I am having some issues with footnotes, particularly when the paragraph in which the footnote appears is rendered toward the end of the current page. I have attached a sample XML file (which is quite large, I'm sorry, but it needed to be to demonstrate the problems effectively) and the PDF output, to which I will refer in this post. Please note that the contents of the document presented here are publicly available.

Firstly, on the first page, there is a footnote rendered above the footnote line. This note actually appears at the end of the paragraph marked 2.2 (starts on second page). The reason I suspect it appears here is that the 2.2 paragraph would have appeared in full on the first page if the footnote had not been present, and taken up a slice of the bottom of the page. The text of the footnote also appears rendered at the bottom of the second page.

Secondly, a similar situation exists on the second and third pages - there is a footnote (#5) at the end of the 2.6 paragraph (which actually renders on the third page), but the footnote text is rendered on the second page over the top of the other footnotes, and again at the bottom of the third page. This one gets really interesting, as there are four lines to this particular footnote, and the second two lines are actually rendered before the first two lines (see first footnote on third page).

I believe that most of these problems are being caused by the position of page breaks, but they are pretty serious. I have examined the XML used to generate the document, and I can't find anything wrong with it.

Also, is there any way to control the line that separates the footnotes from the main text? Is it possible to adjust the length, thickness, colour, and style of it?

Can you please advise?

Thanks
Chris Fairall.

Update: I accidentally uploaded the wrong XML file. Please see updated attachment.
